To fulfill all costumers needs producers have to control everything. At Xylo One, products are subjected to quality control that includes:

. Raw material quality control (assessment of suppliers)
. Laboratory control before production
. Production process control
. Final laboratory control

Xylo One's laboratory is equipped with most modern equipment to perform a wide range of analysis which guarantees that all orders complies costumer's requirements.

Xylo One's Food and Quality Management Systems are certified accordingly with international standards ISO22000:2005 and ISO9001:2008.

Xylo One has an external quality control protocol with CTCOR (Centro Tecnológico da Cortiça), an independent and prestigious organization, that carries further laboratory tests, such as TCA, TeCA and PCA (tri, tetra and pentachloroanisole) tests, to avoid any problem.

R&D

Xylo One's engineering team is permanently searching new ways to process, treat and test their products. During 2009, this effort resulted in a new wash procedure that saves energy and time, is less harmful environmentally and even more important, that reduces in 70% to 90% TCA levels.
