Um estudo realizado nos EUA elaborado pela Information Resources, Inc. e divulgado na Wine Industry Insight permitiu revelar alguns dados muito interessantes acerca dos resultados de vinhos vedados com diferentes produtos (cortiça, alumínio e plástico).

O estudo demonstra crescimentos do volume de vendas de 9,9% para vinhos vedados com cortiça, contra uma estagnação (0,4%) nos vinhos vedados com plástico e um decréscimo no volume de vendas de vinhos vedados com cápsula de alumínio (1,7%). São dados reveladores das preferências do mercado e que importa analisar cuidadosamente.
